Frictional Friday 2 [The New Year's Thank You Edition]

Happy new year everybody, and welcome to my second personal blog (the first to be posted right on time), the Frictional Friday 2!! Well, it's the last day of 2010, and we're closing up the year of joy with what I'd like to call a Thank You list.. But before that, let us talk about what had happened in my life this past week..

Basically, nothing happened last week..

Okay, now back to the Thank You list.. Nah, just kidding.. This week was quite boring.. Nothing special happened.. Except for Wednesday, where I went back to school to check out my co-curricular points so that I'm eligible to apply for university or college admittance.. After that, I hanged out with one of my best friends at the town.. I can now proudly claim that I have held a PS3 controller!! Ahhh, sense of joy there.. Haha.. But before I went to school that day, I was involved with a small chat on Facebook with Sis (I call her Sis because she is my S.O's little sister).. Her family went to the town library that day.. Cool.. My S.O was busy reading books that she wouldn't go online.. Not cool.. It's good to know that she'll be able to go on without me around, with no problems.. Unfortunately, I don't think I can.. But I do know that someday we, together, will be the king and queen of all I see.. Haha.. I love to use that phrase on her.. "The king and queen of all I see..".. Good times, good times.. And just now, I've just added my former primary school crush.. Haha, I was young and I didn't know what I was thinking.. And who can blame me?? Well, glad that now we're cool.. She doesn't get pissed off by me, for being attracted to her.. Thank God.. Haha.. And I'm so totally over her.. I'm very grateful to have my S.O right now.. No polyamory, no polyamory.. That's what I believe in.. Hah..

Now, on to the Thank You list.. The Top 10 entities that I'd like to share my gratitude with are...

#1 - Allah S.W.T (God). For He's the main reason of why I'm still here.. For He's the reason for everything that's happening on His green earth.. For everything..

#2 - My family. Especially my mother and big brother.. For, well, everything.. I'm not good in writing speeches, let alone a Thank You list.. Why the fail am I writing this, then??

#3 - My teachers. All the teachers in the world.. Specifically, the teachers who has taught me since I was 7 years old (I had never go to a kindergarten).. For helping me to understand almost everything that this world has to offer.. Some of the teachers' names that I remembered the most: Puan Azyan, Puan Azyah, Puan Asiah, Puan Zainab, Encik Hanif, Puan Masbah, Puan Norizah, Puan Maryani, Puan Sabidah, Sir Sivajimani, Puan Rozlah, Encik Aizam, Encik Razmee, Miss Kalai Selvi, Cik Mimi, Sir Roslan, Puan Shafinaz, Mrs Malliga, Sir Fairul, Puan Khairiah, Puan Kamariyah, Mrs Annamal, Puan Norzila (one of my best friends' mother), Puan Nor, all those teachers that I have accidentally forgot to write here especially the English and Mathematics teachers (sorry, hope all of you are proud of what I've become today).. And last, but not least, my final Physics teacher, my final class teacher, my elder sister from different parents (yes, I've just made that up, haha), Puan Azra.. You are seriously one of the best teachers in the whole world.. Especially since you have taught the best person in the world, me (haha, just kidding).. But if I am meant to be the best in the world at what I do, then thank you for making me the best.. I have a lot other names that I didn't mention here (most of them crossed my mind, but I'm tired of typing out your names one by one.. sorry, but always know that you guys are the bests).. Sorry.. Maybe I've misspelled some of those that I typed.. Again, sorry.. Blah blah blah.. It's my last year of schooling!! I should've write something way better than this.. :(

#4 - My friends. For being my friends.. Haha.. Seriously, for letting me know that I was not alone for over 17 years of walking on this planet Earth.. Random names: Sylvester, Azmi, Afifi, Irsyad, Azlan, Faiz, Fariz, Nik, Udin (one of my best friends, ever!), Ariss, Muhaimmin, Syafiq, Aizat, Thanesh, Arif, Zul, Yash, Faraain, Ili, Ain, Nadiah, Shareena, Ann, Musalmah, Mariah, and others.. Oh, and how can I forgot.. Siti.. Those unmentioned, sorry.. You guys are all awesome.. Any typos, sorry as well.. And as you guys can see, I don't have many female friends.. I used to be a shy person, but thanks to the internet, I'm shameless (only on the internet, though.. I still don't know how to start a conversation with people)..

#5 - Myspace. For putting my name up on Google.. Haha.. And for meeting me up with almost 3000 friends from all over the world.. And who can ever forget when I was the #2 most popular person on the internet that was born in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia?? Yes, thank you Tom..

#6 - Facebook. For being the new age Myspace.. Basically for the same reason as #5.. And for meeting me up with my old friends, current friends, new friends and even stranger-cum-friends like Jessie Parker-Breese, Bryant Jones, Christopher Torres, Paul Westbrook, Amie Shahrimie (I first knew her as stfuamie on Twitter, haha), etc who, in their own ways, shared the same interest as me.. You guys are awesome.. Cool to know you guys.. Yes, thank you Mark..

#7 - Vince McMahon and the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). For providing great entertainment in my life for the past 15 years.. Yes, I started watching since I was 3 years old.. I still remember my first match, Mankind vs Undertaker in a Boiler Room Brawl.. Those days, TV3 would show you a pay-per-view for free.. The last PPV that TV3 brought to me was Vengeance (can't remember which year) where Chris Jericho first won the Undisputed Championship.. Haha.. Great days.. Bunch of thanks to the superstars and divas, and also the backstage crew.. Stone Cold for the bottom lines.. The Rock for the smackdowns laid.. John Cena for wasting 30 minutes of my time every night the freestyle raps.. Randy Orton for the punts.. Daniel Bryan for spitting in Cena's face.. Shawn Michaels for breaking our hearts.. And Zack Ryder for the woo-woo-woos.. Oh, and the McMahon family.. And special thanks to Jim Ross, for the "Stone Cold!! Stone Cold!!"s.. Ahhh..

#8 - Hayley Williams, Jeremy Davis, Joshua Farro, Taylor York and Zachary Farro, collectively known as Paramore. For visiting Malaysia!! And also for the great music.. Special thanks to the Farro brothers for performing in my beautiful country at least once, before deciding to leave the band.. Will miss you guys.. And Hayley, please come back here.. You'll always be my celebrity crush.. Oh, wait.. No polyamory, no polyamory.. Bye Hayley.. Hah..


#9 - Noorel Yaqin. Yes, myself. For being myself, keep standing on my two feet, despite all the challenges thrown against me, despite all the backstabbing and facecrushing moments throughout the year.. Despite almost losing the ability to stand and walk when I was 7.. Despite being loved and hated for all my life.. And despite having to wait for 7+ more years.. Thanks for being myself.. Be jealous.. Hoorah..

#∞ (yeah, she was reckoned to be at the top of my list) - My S.O. I'm going to keep my words soft and sweet.. For everything.. Especially for indirectly showing me how to go on without you around.. Wrestling Wednesday 2 [The Straight Edge Thursday Edition]

Tuesday Night Smackdown

#1 - Miz vs Randy Orton, Singles match. Great back and forth match.. Miz is an awesome heel.. Alex Riley does a great suck-up-to-the-man on the Miz.. Orton with an RKO, only to be battered by Riley during a pin.. Outside interference DQ, I guess.. Miz is down, and Orton fights Riley off, sets a punt to the Miz but Riley comes back, yet only to be RKOd by Orton.. Miz escapes the punt.. Damn.. **** match. Winner: Randy Orton


#2 - Chavo Guerrero Jr vs Santino Marella, Singles match. Santino + Kozlov = Pure entertainment.. Beth Phoenix + Kozlov, divided by Santino, multiplied by a mistletoe = Golden.. Haha.. Another throw-my-career-into-the-backlot-dumpster match for Chavo here, as Marella scores with a pin on Guerrero after the Cobra!! Cobra!! Cobra!! Man, if only Jim Ross is in commentary, he would be shouting for the Cobra as he did for Stone Cold Steve Austin.. *** 1/2 match. Winner: Santino Marella


#3 - Drew McIntyre vs Low Ki Kaval, Singles match. Wow. What a way to end off Kaval's WWE run. MEGA SARCASM. Seriously, how many match has Kaval won in his tenure in this company?? One and a half?? McIntyre batters Kaval even before the bell rings, and when it does ring, McIntyre scores a boot to Kaval's face and scores with the Future Shock.. Go back to the independent scene and be the World Warrior.. You deserve way lot better.. This is indeed Kaval's last match in the WWE.. ** 1/2 match. Winner: Drew McIntyre


#4 - Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger vs Kofi Kingston and Rey Mysterio, Tag Team match. Mysterio and Kingston win after a 619-Trouble-In-Paradise-Splash combo on Swagger.. Remember Swagger's World Heavyweight Championship title run?? Neither do I.. *** match. Winner: Rey Mysterio and Kofi Kingston


#5 - Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero vs John Cena, Handicap match. This is the only time I've ever root for Cena.. I don't wanna see Guerrero picking up an in-ring victory ever again.. Attitude Adjustment on Ziggler, and thank God that's the match.. Credits to Ziggler for bringing out Cena's A-game here tonight.. And whoosh!! CM Punk comes and takes Cena out with a chair!! YES!! As long as this keeps on happening in Cena's matches, the ratings (well, at least MY ratings) will go directly up through the roof!! *** 1/2 match. Winner: John Cena


A great show, considering that this is a live show.. Good times: Marella-Kozlov-Phoenix skit, Cody Rhodes ambushing Hornswoggle, Cena kissing Vickie Guerrero, CM punk chair assault..

Monday Night Raw

#1 - Santino Marella vs Ted DiBiase Jr, Singles match. But before that, a great mic work by both John Cena and CM Punk.. A very quick match, with Santino scoring the win with a quick roll-up.. After the match, Santino gives a Cobra-in-a-box to Tamina Snuka as a Christmas gift, but they are then assaulted by DiBiase and Maryse Ouellet.. They quickly turn the tables though, as Marella and Tamina goes for a double salute headbutt followed by a stereo Cobra.. The Cobras of Santino and Tamina then kisses.. Aww.. *** match. Winner: Santino Marella


#2 - Alex Riley vs John Morrison, Singles match. If Riley wins, Morrison will have to forfeit his WWE Champion #1 Conterdership.. But if Morrison wins (which he does), he will get to choose the time and stipulation of his WWE Championship match.. The Miz was banned from ringside after he trips Morrison down from a Flash Kick attempt.. Morrison wins after a Flash Kick and a running knee (or kick), followed by a pin.. He then chooses next week as the date, and a Falls Count Anywhere match as the type of his title match.. *** 1/2 match. Winner: John Morrison


#3 - Mark Henry vs Tyson Kidd, Singles match. I thought Henry is going to be jobbing to Kidd, but I was wrong.. It seems that the creative team do respect Henry's credibility.. World's Strongest Slam, and a 3-count.. Following the match, Kidd's bodyguard, Jackson Andrews comes in to the ring and confronts Henry.. Maybe he'll job here?? No.. Henry avoids the short-arm clothesline and scores another huge World's Strongest Slam, this time to Andrews.. *** 1/2 match. Winner: Mark Henry


#4 - Jerry Lawler vs Miz, Singles match. Miz dominates the match until John Morrison comes in to interfere.. King Lawler throws some beautiful dropkicks (what the fail??) and throws the Miz out of the ring.. Alex Riley catches the referee's attention, then Morrison scores with his patented running knee (or kick) to the head of the Miz.. Countout victory.. *** 1/2 match. Winner: Jerry Lawler


#5 - Alicia Fox and Melina Perez vs Eve Torres and Gail Kim, Tag Team match. Natalya Neidhart on commentary.. Another you-will-never-win-a-match-ever-again match for Gail Kim.. Sunset Split, and the pin fall victory.. Melina goes to shake Natalya's hand, then tries to b*tchslap her again, but Neidhart counters and b*tchslaps Miss Perez as a retribution of what happened last week.. Payback's a you-know-what!! *** match. Winner: Melina Perez and Alicia Fox


#6 - Daniel Bryan vs Zack Ryder, Singles match. This match should not have happened.. Both of this guys deserves to be pushed to the upper-midcard, but unfortunately only Bryan is going to that spot while Ryder stays grounded.. Duh.. LeBell Lock.. Done.. Miz suddenly shows up and beats the hell out of Jerry Lawler, interrupting a message from the General Manager.. Skull Crushing Finale on the floor.. *** 1/2 match. Winner: Daniel Bryan


#7 - Randy Orton vs Sheamus O'Shaunessy, Singles match. Sheamus has a springboard move?? What the fail?? Awesome, nonetheless.. O'Shaunessy tries for a second springboard shoulder block, only to be catched with a mid-air RKO!! Pin fall.. **** match. Winner: Randy Orton


Awesome night.. After that match is a Cena-Punk confrontation, but Punk doesn't appear.. Nexus comes out though.. David Otunga comes into the ring and asks for a truce.. Cena says no, and tells Otunga to leave the ring immediately.. Otunga pretends to leave, then suddenly the Nexus strikes!! Heath Slater with a Jumping Reverse STO (not sure if that is called the Sweetness), Michael McGillicutty with the McGillicutter, Husky Harris with the Senton Splash and finally Otunga directs Justin Gabriel to pull off his 450 Splash.. As the Nexus are leaving, CM Punk comes in.. Go To Sleep to Cena!! Punk gets a chair.. Instead of smashing Cena with the chair, he goes to sit on it.. He grabs a Nexus arm band (left by Otunga earlier) and raises his right fist, then the Nexus salutes back!! One question though, what happened to Wade Barrett?? Good times: CM Punk and John Cena's confrontation, Santino and Tamina's Cobra, Mark Henry winning, Jerry Lawler in action, Daniel Bryan winning, Nexus + CM Punk strikes..

Superstar Of The Week - Kaval

Brandon Silvestry was born in Brooklyn, New York.. Best known as Low Ki, Senshi and Kaval, he is a former world champion as he has won the PWG World Championship once.. He has also won the secong season of WWE NXT.. Recently released from his contract with the WWE, he uses the Warrior's Way (diving double foot stomp) as his main finisher..

Music Monday 2 [The Truth Edition]

Welcome to my second Music Monday!! Well, you might be wondering, what's up with the title?? The truth?? What truth?? Well, it's the true reason of why the Farro brothers (Josh and Zac, of course) left Paramore.. Last week, I gave you my top 3 reason as to why they left, didn't I.. Well, my reasons are partially right.. I said that Josh is joining Fox Avenue.. Well, that is still uncertain, but what I do know is that Zac has already joined another band called Tunnel!! This totally reeks.. Then I give their music a try, and yes, it does reek.. Of awesomeness, that is!! Very cool music, different of what we have today.. Anyway, back to the topic, which is why they left.. Actually, they did left the band because they despise Hayley and how the band has turned out to be.. They claimed that Hayley Williams has been treating the band as her solo project, not as the band.. I want to keep this blog short and sweet, so here's the link to his blog.. (click here for the statement...)

Artist Of The Week - Simple Plan

Simple Plan began with the formation of a band named Reset.. Then Chuck Comeau left the band to go college, where he met Jeff Stinco and Sebastien LeFebvre who were in separate bands of their own, and combined to form Simple Plan.. Soon after, Pierre met Chuck again, and then Pierre himself jumped into the band.. David Desrosiers replaced Pierre in Reset for around 6 months, before leaving to join the boys of Simple Plan.. The boys stick together until today, without even a single line-up change (take that Paramore).. Until today, they have released 3 studio albums, with the 4th set to be launched in 2011.. Can't wait for that..

Makes me wanna swing my shoulders left, right, left, right alternately and rhythmically.. Hell yeah.. Who says I'm only into headbanging and stagediving?? One of the best official soundtrack album to date.. Features 2 songs by Paramore (Decode and I Caught Myself; 3 songs if you buy the Deluxe Edition, the other one is the acoustic version of Decode) and numbers of Muse (Supermassive Black Hole; who can forget the epic baseball scene from the movie??), Linkin Park (Leave Out All The Rest) and Robert 'Edward Cullen' Pattinson himself (Never Think; also Let Me Sign if you buy the ITunes edition).. The songs are ordered nicely in the album, making the album sounds so beautiful, it makes you wanna cry.. And I know some will be asking, "Team Edward or Team Jacob??".. Well, here's my answer: Team Bella.

Frictional Friday 1 [The Saturday Edition]

BAAAMM!!


Yeah, I know.. It's Saturday, and there's no new blog yesterday.. Well, I was caught up by a busy schedule.. And by busy schedule, I mean gaming non-stop until I totally forgot about this no-one-cares-to-visit-let-alone-read page.. Ahhh, what a week.. I was planning to write a 5-paragraph blog today, so let's see how it goes..

Yes, I was busy gaming.. You might be wondering what game was I playing.. Let me correct that, it's "what GAMES was I playing".. Well, I played like 8, 9 titles yesterday.. Here are some of them..

Audiosurf (for the PC). One of the best games I have ever played.. You know Guitar Hero, Rock Band, blah blah blah?? This is way better than those.. You choose the car (basically the game mode) that you want, and then you choose a music, ANY music in your computer (or hard disk, pendrive, blah blah blah) for you to ride or surf on.. Awesome, isn't it?? Well, my description kinda sucks anyway..

WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2011 (for the PS2). Indeed one of the best game of the Smackdown Vs Raw series.. I was playing the Universe mode, which is kinda similar to the Smackdown 2's Season mode, except for the fact that you are not choosing a specific wrestler, but the whole show.. It's like Season + GM + Career mode.. Nuff said.. Also have just started the Vs Undertaker Road To Wrestlemania mode using Dolph Ziggler.. Thank God there's no Vickie Guerrero in that game..

Fisherman's Bait: Big Ol' Bass 2, also known as Fisherman's Bait 3 (for the PS, not to be confused with Fisherman's Bait 2: Big Ol' Bass for the same console). The most awesome fishing game ever made for mankind.. Seriously.. It's not as boring as most fishing games are.. Cool background music, lovely sound effects, great commentary.. I love it when it says "fish on" or "monster".. Golden.. Besides, what other fishing games that would let you fish a T-Rex?? Exactly..

Well, enough of my gaming world.. Now, for the frictional part (wasn't the whole blog supposed to be frictional?? whatever).. 10 days ago, my ex-classmates and I had thrown a farewell party, as we are no longer going to school next year (hoorah??).. It was held at a beach near the town.. Guess how I went there?? No, not by bus.. Not even trying to walk there.. And no, not by a flying carpet of some sort.. Guess what?? My S.O's mother sent me there.. Hell yeah!! She gave me a ride.. Awesome.. Upon reaching there, I was forced to go elsewhere as the organizer(s) was (were) setting up the games.. Haha.. So I got some time to talk trash (let's just call it a small conversation, shall we??) with my S.O and her very supportive (laughing out loud at this point, haha) sister.. It was a cool day, except for the torturing games.. Seriously, I dislike those games.. Yet I took part.. You know, being supportive or something like that.. Whatever.. Our Chemistry teacher even brought his family as well!! Unfortunately, he was the only teacher to join us.. Well, there's another one, but she left soon after delivering a cake for us.. I never really had a chance to taste that cake, as we (as in me, S.O and sis) went home early.. Yeah, their mother sent me back as well.. Hah.. Got to swim a little bit.. Ate a couple of fried chicken with some French fries.. Overall, a good day.. Well, it's always a good day when I get to meet my S.O.. Haha..

Anyway, this past Wednesday, my S.O and her family went to the town library.. Don't know why.. Kinda weird, if you ask me.. Haha.. Had quite a long chat with sis on Facebook.. Yet a very, very, very short conversation with my S.O.. And by short, I mean a total of 34 words used.. 18 sent, 16 received.. Yet, it's still great.. That's my point.. I don't care if it's just her shadow, a 2-letter word that comes from her mouth, or even a glimpse of her.. She makes my day.. (how is this frictional?? haha)

Well, I guess that's it for today.. Wow, at least I reached my 5-paragraph quota.. Haha.. See you guys on Monday.. Music Monday will be awesome!! Same goes to the next Frictional Friday (or Saturday, like this one, haha)!! Make sure you'll be there..

#1 - Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger vs Kaval and Kofi Kingston, Tag Team match. Sweet! Kaval's second victory on Smackdown! Kaval deserves a huge push.. Seriously.. Beautiful double suicide dive (or tope, whatever) by Kaval and Kofi.. Awesome counter by Kaval, from a roll up to a standing Warrior's Way.. A great back and forth match, where Kofi pinned Dolph after the Trouble In Paradise.. After the match, Jack dropped Dolph with a stiff punch.. **** match. Winner: Kofi Kingston and Kaval

#2 - Chris Masters vs Cody Rhodes, Singles match. A quick, short match booked to push Cody.. It's kinda awesome to see Cody getting the push that he deserves, but burying Chris is not.. I would not condone a slap in a wrestling match, but that slap Chris gave Cody was sick!! Listen to the shot!! Chris doing a knife edge chop.. I thought it was banned?? Whatever.. Cody pinned Chris after the Cross Rhodes.. **1/2 match. Winner: Cody Rhodes


#3 - Miz vs Rey Mysterio, Singles match. An above average match.. It's good to see matches like this on a WWE televised show.. Alex Riley continued to show his 'loyalty' (some would call it s*cking up) to the Miz.. And then we have Alberto Del Rio interfering.. Epic interference there!! Look at the way he tripped Rey while Rey was trying for a 619.. That was awesome!! Alberto is golden (except for his mic skills, of course).. Miz got the pin after countering a springboard splash by Rey.. ***1/2 match. Winner: Miz


#4 - Chavo Guerrero and Tyler Reks vs Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov, Tag Team match. Again, a push/bury match.. Santino and Vladimir gets pushed while Chavo's career is running straight to the ground.. Why the hell is Tyler joining Chavo's ride to flop?? Santino and Vlad was awesome, as always.. Now that's pure entertainment.. Santino won via a school boy after hitting the Cobra.. ***1/2 match. Winner: Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov


#5 - Alberto Del Rio and Miz vs Edge and Rey Mysterio, Tag Team match. I hate it when a superstar wrestles in 2 match at the same night.. Except for a case of tournament.. Another tag match?? Wow.. Let me keep this short and sweet.. Kane comes in and smacks Edge down.. DQ victory, I guess.. And they went for a brawl, as the whole roster tried to split them up.. Boom!! Chokeslam to Trent Baretta.. Bam!! Spear to kane.. ***1/2 match. Winner: Edge and Rey Mysterio


Overall, a great episode of Smackdown.. Good times: Kaval won, Dashing tips from Cody Rhodes, Kaitlyn backstage, Santino and Vladimir Kozlov..

Sunday Night TLC

#1 - Dolph Ziggler vs Jack Swagger vs Kofi Kingston for the Intercontinental Championship, Ladder match. An awesome match!! Jack looks like he has injured his hand or wrist there.. And Dolph wins by a fumble?? What the fail?? That brings the rating down a bit.. ***1/2 match. Winner: Dolph Ziggler


#2 - Beth Phoenix and Natalya Neidhart vs Laycool, Tag Team Tables match. A flawless match, except for the way Beth bumped her neck when being thrown by Michelle McCool.. The finish is quite awesome too.. Natalya with a diving cross body onto Laycool through a pink table.. One of the best diva matches of the year.. **** match. Winner: Natalya and Beth Phoenix.


#3 - Nexus vs Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov, for the Tag Team Championship, Tag Team match. Totally Lethal Cobra!! Yet another failed ending to an entertaining match.. Duh.. On behalf oh Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel, Michael McGillicutty interfered thus resulting to a DQ.. After the match, the Nexus strikes again.. Wade Barrett joins in and smacks Santino and Vladimir with a chair.. *** match. Winner: Santino Marella and Vladimri Kozlov


#4 - John Morrison vs Sheamus O'Shaunessy for the WWE Champion #1 Contendership, Ladder match. Back and forth and back and forth and back yet still going further.. Cool match.. John + ladder = awesomeness.. Sheamus went through hell, yet is still fighting back.. Crazy.. John grabs the contract after knocking Sheamus down long enough with a Flash Kick-like move.. **** match. Winner: John Morrison


#5 - Miz vs Randy Orton for the WWE Championship, Tables match. Not really what I was expecting, but cool.. Randy powerbombs the loyal Alex Riley through the table, just to be Skull Crushing Finaled by the Miz.. Miz moves Alex from the broken table and puts Randy in that place.. The ref wakes up and thought that it was over, hence the bell is rang.. But that ref catches the replay, and restarts the match.. Miz launches Alex onto Randy who falls from the apron through a table.. Bam.. ***1/2 match. Winner: Miz


#6 - Alberto Del Rio vs Edge vs Kane vs Rey Mysterio for the World Heavyweight Championship, TLC match. When Edge is in a TLC match, it's a great match.. Nuff said.. Edge Spears Kane from the apron onto a table, climbed a ladder and unhooks the title.. **** match. Winner: Edge


#7 - John Cena vs Wade Barrett, Chairs match. Of all the glorified titles in the company, none of it is on the line in the main event.. What match would've end this night?? John Cena's match.. Boo hoo.. Yes, I'm not a Cena fan.. Attitude Adjustment on Wade onto heaps of chairs, and Supercena did it again.. The ending failed.. Wade saved the rating of the match.. *** match. Winner: John Cena


Overall, a good pay-per-view.. It's not great, thanks to the main event winner.. Good times: epic matches, Beth Phoenix's supremacy, Santino and Vladimir Kozlov's slot, Nexus attack, twisty ending in several matches, Laycool through a pink table, Edge in a TLC match, CM Punk commentating the main event..

#1 - Alicia Fox vs Eve Torres vs Melina Perez for the Divas Champion #1 Contendership, Triple Threat match. It's great to see 3 talented going against each other in the ring while another is commentating.. The Divas Champion, Natalya Neidhart is on commentary.. Melina rolls Alicia for the pin as a counter of a cross body block doomsday device.. Yeah, sounds awesome, doesn't it? Natalya comes into the ring to congratulate the new #1 contender for her title, only to get b*tchslapped by Melina.. Heel turn, heel turn, yeah, yeah!! ***1/2 match. Winner: Melina Perez


#2 - Daniel Bryan vs William Regal, Singles match. 2 of the most technically sound superstars compete in the ring, while the Bella Twins accompany one of them.. Half of the statement just doesn't sound right.. William submitted out of the LeBell Lock.. ****1/2 match. Winner: Daniel Bryan


#3 - Maryse Ouellet and Ted DiBiase Jr vs Santino Marella and Tamina Snuka, Mixed Tag Team match. Santino's awesome, as always.. Ted, uhmm, no comment.. Tamina pins Maryse after a Superfly.. ***1/2 match. Winner: Tamina Snuka and Santino Marella


#4 - Dolph Ziggler vs John Cena, Singles match. Supercena wins, Attitude Adjustment.. CM Punk smacks John with a steel chair to give John a taste of his own medicine.. God bless Phil Brooks.. ***1/2 match. Winner: John Cena


#5 - Alex Riley, Miz and Sheamus O'Shaunessy vs Jerry Lawler, John Morrison and Randy Orton, 6 Men Tag Team match. Where else can we see 2 kings on the opposite corners?? Where else can we see former tag team buddies (even champions at some time) on the opposite corners?? And where else can we see Randy and Alex on the opposite corners?? Well, forget the last part.. It's meaningless.. Jerry in action again!! Hooray!! Jerry scores the victory pin after the Miz got RKOed by Randy.. **** match. Winner: Jerry Lawler, John Morrison and Randy Orton

Music Monday 1 [The Farro Brothers Edition]

Bam..

Unfortunately, my first Music Monday starts with a weak bang, as I have heard about a sad (but true) news of my favorite band, Paramore.. For those of you who have yet to hear the news, it's about Joshua 'Josh' Farro (the guitarist of Paramore) and his brother, Zachary 'Zac' Farro (drummer) parting ways with the band.. This is just unreal.. What's happening to this world?? Hayley said that they (the Farros) are no longer happy in the band, and it hasn't seemed as if they wanted to be in the band anymore.. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE FRICKING KIDDING ME. I mean really?? I know Josh has been really down in his recent performances (more about this later), but what about Zac?? (again, more about this later) Hayley has also said that none of them (the whole band) are really shocked, and they want Josh and Zac to do something that makes them happy and if it isn't here with Paramore, then they support the Farros finding happiness elsewhere.. And she said that they don't wanna leave this all behind, so apparently they're not breaking up.. Yeah, they're pulling up a Lady Antebellum with two guys and a girl in the band.. And what's really weird right here is at the end of the statement, she didn't wrote "Goodbye Josh and Zac, we'll be missing you" or "Good luck in your future endeavors" or any crap like that.. (for the full announcement, click here...) Anyway, I'm sure that most of you have already known that I am a huge Parawhore. So you should know by now that I'm not just gonna sit back, relax and enjoy the ride as the Farros leave and Paramore tours with those Kaiser Chiefs members.. So I've Googled for some info on this news, and these are MY top 3 reasons as to why the Farro brothers leave the global phenomenon known as Paramore..

#3 - JOSH IS JOINING FOX AVENUE. Come on, the news have been spreading all over the net.. And Zac is leaving to show his loyalty and support to his big bro. But for me, there's no way they're leaving the band when they're at the peak of their career.. That brings me to reason #2..

#2 - JOSH WANTS MORE TIME WITH HIS WIFE, JENNA. This happens to almost every newlywed in every band.. And Zac is leaving to (again) show his loyalty and support to his big bro. But then, it does not quite matches the band's statement.. If it's because of Jenna, why won't they just tell the world so that the world would understand?? So here's my #1 reason, which will be quite long (just scroll down if you don't really care about Paramore, but if you wanna kill some time you can go ahead and read it)..

#1 - JOSH WANTS TO AVOID HAYLEY. Most of you know that they used to be a we-love-each-other-till-death-do-us-part couple.. But they decided to keep it as a secret for about 3 years.. Then Josh wanted to go public, but Hayley didn't.. Soon after that, they broke up.. Clashed.. Parted ways.. Call it whatever you want, but they are no more.. Then Hayley herself told the world about them, which is quite discomforting for Josh as they had promised not to tell the world about them.. She also said that they parted ways because they didn't want the band to be circling around them (or something like that).. She was also quoted saying "Josh and I are better friends than we would have been just dating".. I'm sorry Hayley, but I think that is a LIE. Especially after you got over it so quick by dating Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory soon after that.. And you decided to go public with Chad, but not when you're with Josh.. (on this point my musical blog is turning into a frictional blog, haha) Josh and Chad got into a fight since Chad started dating Hayley and Chad was obviously changing Hayley and the way she was.. It was obvious that Josh has had feelings for Hayley, and then Chad rubbed it in by dedicating a song to Josh because he was dating Hayley.. Clearly, Josh hates the way Hayley has changed because of Chad.. Hayley has turned from a vibrant red haired, lovely girl next door to an attention whore.. There are also discussions of renaming the band to Paramore Featuring Hayley Williams or Hayley Williams and Paramore, which are usually done when they are planning to spin the person (in this case, Hayley) off the band (Paramore).. Surely Paramore is no longer circling around Hayley and Josh, but only around Hayley. Sure, Josh tried to get over Hayley by getting into a relationship and marrying Jenna Rice, but I truly understand how he feels about the new Hayley.. DESPISE. Hell yeah.. Look at his recent performances of the song My Heart (which is about Josh and Hayley, of course).. He can't play the song as good as he did few years back.. Messed up chords, less energetic, blah blah blah.. How can you give your best when you perform a song about you and a person, when the feelings between you and that person is no longer there?? Love has turned into despise.. And Hayley knows that.. Numerous songs in Brand New Eyes are about the friction between Hayley and Josh. In the song Ignorance: "You treat me just like another stranger" is definitely about the way Josh is treating Hayley.. In Looking Up: I can't believe we almost hung it up, we're just getting started" quite possibly was written after Josh let her know that he doesn't really want to continue with the band.. Remember in the band's statement, they said that "none of us are really shocked".. Yeah, they saw it coming over the past year already.. Well, it's about time.. You can clearly see in their backstage videos that Hayley and Josh are no longer as close as they used to be.. In fact, if I didn't know them, I would've thought that Hayley's only friends in Paramore were Jeremy and Taylor. Fans on numerous Paramore message boards were constantly asking why Josh looked so miserable.. And guess what?? I think I just typed the answer above.. And what about Zac?? Well, he is leaving to show his loyalty and support to his big bro. Yeah, there is no definite reason (at least I can't find one) as to why Zac leaves.. Anyway, CHAD GILBERT KILLED PARAMORE. Well, just my opinion.


Well, good luck Paramore.. Looking forward to listening how your upcoming music sounds like, as 40% of the band is no longer there. Truth be told, I hate myself for despising Hayley right now.. Don't get me wrong.. Hayley Williams is my celebrity crush since I first heard of Misery Business. It kinda sucks that things like this happened.. We want the old Paramore back, not Hayley Williams featuring Paramore.. Blah blah blah.. The end..

Artist Of The Week - Antoine Dodson

Kevin Antoine Dodson was interviewed after an alleged attempted rape of his sister by and intruder in her bedroom in the projects of Lincoln Park.. The interview inspired the Gregory brothers, which has been Autotuning news for a living (for a Youtube channel, actually) to make a musical remix.. And the Bed Intruder Song was born.. The song has sold over 100000 of copies on I Tunes and reached #89 on the Billboard Hot 100 list. He was once quoted saying "Am I bi?? No.. Gay?? Yes".. Holy shoot. Anyway, he has made enough money from the song to move his family from the projects to a better house.. So you can run and tell that, homeboy.

I don't wanna talk about the lyrics.. Go find and decode it yourself.. I kinda dislike the lyrics, but the song is A-W-E-S-O-M-E! The video's cool too.. Check it out.. Worth the 3-and-a-half minutes of your life.. Shoutout to the bassist of Madina Lake, Matthew Leone who is currently recovering after being assaulted when he was trying to help a woman who was being beaten by her husband.. He suffered a broken jaw, a broken nose and a fractured skull, not to mention a swollen brain from the attack.. You are a hero.. Period.

Introduction To Frictional Blog

First blog ever baybee..!! Woo woo woo!! Did this blog begins with a bang or what?? Anyway, this page is made as a medium to share whatever I like, dislike, love, hate, do, wish I could do, wish I would never do, and so on.. Man, does blogging feels like talking to yourself or what?? Now, a small description about this crappy, no-one-cares-to-visit-let-alone-read page..

Every Monday, I'll talk about music.. Not just contemporary music, but also some blasts from the past.. Well, I rarely listen to the radio nowadays, so I'll blog on mostly instant classics circa 1990s-2000s.. Maybe album, artist, song, lyrics of the week.. And I'll feature the Top 10 of my 3 favorite charts, namely Billboard Hot 100, American Top 40 and Rick Dees' Weekly Top 40.. Well, that's about it for Mondays..

On Wednesday (still can't get over the fact that it's pronounced as 'Wenz-day'.. whatever), I'll be ranting on the epitome of sports entertainment.. Yes, I'm talking about professional wrestling!! Specifically, World Wrestling Entertainment.. I'm not gonna talk about TNA, because everyone (except for Brooke Hogan and those TNA smarks) rather watches 1.5 hours of crappy comedy and Daniel Bryan-Bella Twins skits than dozens of stupid-looking interviews, sloppy bookings, legitimate injuries and Hulk Hogan .. Yes, I'm that guy who was, is and will always be standing up for WWE.. Will be reviewing Raw, Superstars and Smackdown in a weekly basis post.. And also the Top 10 of WWE.com's Power 25 chart of the week.. Maybe a Superstar (Diva) Of The Week column.. And for my first Wrestling Wednesday, you'll also get my thoughts on the TLC Pay-Per-View happening this Monday (GMT +8)..

Every Friday will be frictional, as this page will be my personal trash-talking space.. Fridays will be blind and led by me, cause I'm the blind and the blind leads the blind (no, I'm not really blind).. Twisty words?? Get used to it.. I'll talk about some of the most memorable things happening in that particular week, the good and bad times that I had, the backstabbing and facecrushing moments, and dashes of my favorite parts with my significant other (which I will refer to as my S.O from now on)..
